Otto’s Owl

Otto’s Owl (young reader ages 8-12) scribed by singingsuebee with five illustrated color plates detailed with beautiful watercolors by Janice Walker Hall.

This latest book for slightly older children is geared around the subject of emotions, with some illustrations to guide you, however, the color plates throughout the book will be art in motion to capture distinct magical moments.  This story is about a young boy who loves the outdoors, walking his dogs, and loves to skate on his pond.  He is content in his life until he has a big argument with one of his best friends.

The emotions surface, the confusion starts, the navigation of what to do and how to act become a storm of ideas.  Otto’s Owl – Otto’s spirit animal that appeared to him the night he was born – returns to him now at age ten on a walk in the woods, and explains to Otto how to help himself, and his friend.
